Recently, the United States 3D printing company Makerbot announced that they formally established a business platform in Europe - Makerbot Europe, headquartered in Germany.

As part of its move into Europe, Makerbot has successfully acquired German partner Hafner's Buro. As one of their strategies to enter Europe, MakerBot Europe will manage Makerbot's dealer network throughout Central and Eastern Europe. Alexander Hafner, chairman and owner of Hafner's Buro, will become the head of Maketbot Europe.

It is understood that Makerbot Europe will include Austria, Belgium, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, Britain and other European countries. The existing Makerbot distributors and distributors will continue to operate as usual, and by June this year, all companies will begin to integrate into the Makerbot European sales and marketing organization. During this time, Makerbot Europe will also expand the company's business scope and find distributors. In order to expand the European market, Makerbot will find more retailers and more strategic partners.
