Product Name: DTS_96 Electric Waterproof Membrane Impervious Meter

Designed for testing the water impermeability of petroleum asphalt linoleum and elastic full asphalt waterproofing membranes, this device meets the requirements of GB328.3-2007, GB18242-2000, and GB18243-2000 standards.

It uses an electric air pump to apply pressure and is suitable for use in research institutions, construction sites, production lines, design departments, and educational settings.

The instrument automatically controls inflation and pressure maintenance, with a digital timer for convenience during testing. The maximum test pressure is 0.6MPa, making it also suitable for other materials' gas or water permeability tests.

How to Use:

  1. Adjust the pressure gauge according to your test requirements. Use a flat-blade screwdriver to set the upper and lower limit pointers. For example, if the required pressure is 0.3MPa, set the upper limit to 0.3 and the lower limit to 0.25MPa. This ensures the system stops automatically when reaching the upper limit and restarts when the pressure drops below the lower limit.
  2. Use a hexagonal wrench to loosen the pressure rings on the three permeable trays. Unscrew the water inlet cover, close the drain valve, and slowly fill the container with water up to two-thirds. Open valves 1, 2, and 3 separately until water flows out from the middle hole of the drain valve. Then tighten the water inlet cap.
  3. Place the test sample on the annular rubber ring of the permeable tray, then put the pressure plate over the sample and secure it with screws.
  4. Set the time dial according to your test requirements and adjust the time value accordingly.
  5. Plug in the power cable and turn on the switch. The air pump will start injecting gas into the container, and the pressure indicator light will illuminate.
  6. Once the pressure reaches the upper limit, the system will stop automatically, and the constant pressure light will turn on. After the test duration, open the water valve to release the pressure and remove the test sample. The test is now complete.
