Description: This device is designed to test the water impermeability of petroleum asphalt linoleum and elastic full asphalt waterproofing membranes. It meets the requirements of GB328.3-2007, GB18242-2000, and GB18243-2000 standards. The instrument uses an electric air pump to apply pressure, making it ideal for use in research institutions, construction sites, production lines, design departments, and educational facilities.
The tester automatically controls the inflation and pressure, maintains constant pressure, and features a digital timer for convenient testing and research. It can be used for testing gas or water permeability of various materials, with a maximum test pressure not exceeding 0.6MPa.
Usage Instructions:
- Adjust the pressure gauge according to your test requirements before use. Use a flat-blade screwdriver to set the upper and lower limit pointers. For example, if the required test pressure is 0.3MPa, set the upper limit pointer to 0.3MPa and the lower limit to 0.25MPa. This ensures the system automatically stops when reaching the upper limit and restarts when the pressure drops below the lower limit.
- Use a hex key to loosen the pressure rings on the three permeable trays. Remove the water inlet cover, close the drain valve, and slowly fill the container with water up to two-thirds of its capacity. Open valves "1", "2", and "3" separately until water flows out from the central hole of the drain valve, then secure the water inlet cap.
- Place the test sample on the annular rubber ring of the permeable tray, position the pressure plate over the sample, and tighten the screws securely.
- Set the time dial according to your test requirements and adjust the time value accordingly.
- Plug in the power cord and turn on the switch. The air pump will begin pressurizing the container, and the pressure indicator light will activate.
- When the pressure reaches the upper limit, the system will stop automatically, and the constant pressure light will illuminate. After the test duration has elapsed, open the water valve to release the pressure, remove the test sample, and complete the test.
