Product development based on Cypress's new EZ-Color® family of HB LED controllers is supported by PSoC ExpressTM, the industry's first embedded visual design tool. Engineers only need to enter the selected LEDs and choose the color, the unique EZ-Color architecture and PSoC Express software combination can provide a complete design solution, which is unprecedented. In order to provide consistent color, current LED designs require a series of complex calculations. At present, HB LED engineers face two biggest problems. The EZ-Color controller not only has the advantage of being easy to design, but also supports up to 16 LED channels. In comparison, competing products can only support four to five channels. The EZ-Color controller also features Cypress's patent-pending PrISMTM (High-Precision Illumination Signal Modulation) technology.
