10.5 million! Sharp Opens World's First 8K TV: Cannot Watch 8K Video

The world's first 8K TV "Aquos LC-80XU930X" that Sharp showed at the CES 2015 a year ago has already begun to be available in Asia, but if you are eager to experience 8K, you still need to calm down.

First of all, this is not a native 8K TV, but on the basis of 4K, using Sharp's Quattron technology, a pixel is divided into four, thus achieving 8K resolution.

So, it is actually no way to play a real 8K resolution program, of course, this kind of thing is almost impossible to find now.

However, it can indeed optimize the 4K content to 8K resolution, and the effect is really good, regardless of the picture or video quality is significantly better than 4K. Of course, you need to be close enough to see the difference, and there is basically no difference between the two.

The TV still uses the N-Black Panel LED backlight display panel, which can effectively reduce reflections and support HDR and Android TV.

This 80-inch "8K" TV has already been sold in Singapore, Japan, Malaysia and other Asian countries, of which Singapore sells for S$23,000, or approximately RMB105,000.
