The MB86H06 chip is based on a multi-core CPU architecture with a main CPU frequency of 324MHz. Video decoding supports multiple formats, such as MPEG-2, H.264, AVS, etc.; audio decoding unit supports a variety of advanced audio formats, such as AAC/HE-AAC. In addition, the built-in security area allows the set-top box to meet the most demanding application requirements.
At the same time, the integration of the chip has been further improved, and support for two-way interaction has been enhanced. The chip embeds Ethernet function and USB function, can support multi-channel serial flash and single-chip DDR2 memory, can make 2-layer board, and also embedded QAM demodulation function. For the wired two-way interactive market, the MB86H06 chip can minimize the BOM cost of the whole machine.
