Greycroft Spends USD 15.6 Million to Establish AR-VR Fund

AR, VR, games and e-sports continue to grow.

Greycroft partner Jon Goldman announced today that he has spent $15.6 million to set up an investment fund, primarily for investment in VR, AR, games and e-sports.

Jon Goldman said: "AR, VR, games and e-sports are continuing to grow and develop, which has produced a whole new user experience and industry. Through our investment, we can help these startup companies to enter the next stage of the market. We are committed to helping new teams, not only through capital, but also through outreach and strategic consulting."

Dana Settle, Greycroft's co-founder and partner, said: "We have been working together for four years and we are excited to go deep into VR, AR, e-sports and games. We have a lot with Tracker. The company has invested and believes that this approach of focusing on specific industries will help us acquire expertise and outreach in these fast-growing ecosystems."

Tracker is Greycroft's first seed round fund focused on the vertical industry as a limited partner and business partner. With Goldman's deep industry expertise, Greycroft strengthens its ability to make strategic investments in companies that accelerate VR and AR development.

The GC VR Gaming Tracker Fund, LP (Tracker), has invested in seed financing companies in the vertical industry, ranging from $50,000 to $5 million.
