High speed CF, SD memory card simple speed test

At the beginning talk about the old story. The time away from playing with the camera was a little old, and I often miss the days of communicating with the colorists and the time of self-entertainment. With children, time is full, busy and happy, the camera is in the closet for almost 10 years, turned out 7D is no longer

The time and economy were a bit vacant, and I wanted to play it again. It was a pity that Ke Mei was no longer there. After Sauni took over, the price of the alpha mount lens was always high, and her eyes turned to C and N. In fact, I first wanted to enter the N, because at that time the D70 price is the cheapest (300D seems a little expensive, right?), there are several KM color friend is also on the D70, but at the time of ¥ ¥ insufficient, wait and see for a long time, run into KM sold the camera division to SONY, 7D dropped the price, and finally sold the iron on the first DSLR, α-7D ... dragged away. Later, it seems that they are still using Canon's color friends more, and the saliva has become more saliva. Basically all are 5D, 5D2, 5D3, 1D, 1DS... There have been ideas for a long time, so basically the current affordable is 5D3, 1DX-II is too special expensive, go back to soak the next big, Hummingbird , found 5D4 trails continue, buy new do not buy the old ah, save money while waiting for it. Then, invincible Marx came out

5D4 + 24-70 2.8L

With the camera, naturally, a memory card is needed, and the horse is well equipped with a saddle. Then, one after another, the cards appearing below are purchased (pulled out).
Then began this sloppy and irresponsible simple speed test, the test purpose is purely improvisation. The test was conducted under unclean systems (hangwangwang, QQ and a lot of other software). It can only represent the performance in the current state, and some data are subject to fluctuations. The results are for reference only.

The end of gossip:
About the result: It can be seen from the test results that in the test with the reader and the computer, the major brands basically reached the nominal speed, but the actual effect of the specific use of the camera is not clear.
The Sandisk Extreme Pro SDHC 32G has a slightly lower read/write speed than the nominal. What's surprising is that the reading speed of the Lexar 1000X SDHC 32G is much lower than the nominal. Is this UHS-II card? Is it that the reader on the hand does not support UHS-II so it cannot perform its performance? For the time being, I didn't find a card reader with a more savory appearance and taste. The biggest surprise was the write speed of the Lexar 1066X CF 32G!

About the brand: Most of these cards are based on the brand's favorite, in addition to Transcendence ... ... reminiscing the original 133X CF and 266XCF just came out of the era, 266X in 5D read and write performance is quite excellent and the price is much lower than the then Extreme (This is the color friend told after use). 133X is also quite a good DS card, but then the batch is obviously not enough, the performance is plummeted and the stability is poor, so that the second 133X CF 8G has been handed out, only to keep the earliest to buy That. Did not lose the data do not know fear, lost once on the lifelong unforgettable, especially to help friends finish a night of wedding back to find the card data can not read Fortunately, the last to use software to save back all the RAW, JPG lost.
Since then more trust Sandisk...

About capacity: I chose the direction of 64G, 128G is too big (price ...), and then also take into account the two 32G is more secure than a 64G, I am afraid that normal use of 32G is enough, so it was only then gradually Continuing with a few 32G, for safety reasons I use CF+SD to save RAW+JPG.

I only wrote this article as a fan, the above is only personal preference, welcome to communicate and discuss, do not like to not spray
In the end, I was especially appreciative of the UFO's general respect for 10 years. It was he who pulled me into the 80D group to wake me up and come back ^_^ (It's not a simple matter, this account has been going back for several years.)
