Recently, the Hefei Municipal Government issued the “Measures for the Evaluation of Landscape Lighting Facilities Management in Hefei City (Trial)†to standardize the management of urban landscape lighting facilities and give full play to the overall benefits of the existing nightscape lighting and beautifying the city.

The author learned from the Hefei Lighting Office that there are currently more than 600 landscape lights in the city, which are widely distributed in bridges, rivers, and tourist gardens, as well as important nodes of the city, buildings on both sides of the main and secondary trunk roads, and the management and maintenance of the landscape lights. The newly introduced "Measures" will be composed of the Municipal Construction Committee, Lighting Office, Huancheng Park and the four districts, three development zones, and the Administrative Affairs Office and the Binhu New District. The evaluation office (the organization is located in the Lighting Office) will adopt regular inspections and unannounced visits. According to the regulations, the exposure of the media, the complaints of the citizens, and the instructions of the leaders have all been included in the evaluation elements of the “housekeeperâ€.
Among them, the news media will not give exposure to the management of landscape lights, and the relevant responsible units will give the points reduction treatment; in the event of major security accidents or major reception tasks, the landscape lighting facilities along the visiting lines will not be illuminated according to the specified time, and the lamps and lanterns are incomplete. In the case of affecting the overall lighting effect, a one-vote veto will be imposed on the relevant management units; from this year onwards, the comprehensive evaluation of the landscape lighting management units will be carried out at the end of each year, and the outstanding candidates for the annual evaluation will be given appropriate rewards. Strict execution of opening and closing time
In addition, the "Measures" will be included in the scope of assessment for the unified opening and closing of landscape lighting. According to the regulations, the opening and closing time of landscape lights in Hefei City is: from March 1st to April 30th every year from 19:00 to 22:00; From May 1st to August 31st, 19:30~22:30; September 1st~November 30th, 19:00~22:00; December 1st~February 28th, 18th: 00~21:00; New Year's Day, Chinese New Year, National Day holiday 1 day before the end of the holiday, the landscape lights are extended for 1 hour; the opening and closing time of special events during the important activities of Shengshi and the city's restricted electricity, according to the municipal government Notification execution.
