After rivals Android camp have implemented dual-card dual-standby features, Apple seems to have to enter the bureau to meet more demand for use.

According to Sina science and technology news, a few days ago, the China National Patent Office website added two new information about Apple's iPhone, including the dual-card dual-standby technology patent applied by Apple in China. This means that maybe the iPhone will have dual-card dual standby.

As shown in the figure below, the patent application submitted by Apple earlier this year includes dual SIM network selection and power reduction technology for dual SIM devices. At present, these two patents are still waiting for a proposal for substantive review.

Among them, in the "Dual SIM network selection" patent, the first SIM card is configured as a network or multi-site roaming, and the second SIM card is used for local network communication outside the network, so the two SIM cards are not general The dual card dual standby, and may be a local operator supported SIM card, and the other is a network virtual SIM card.
