Chinese-made lamp was recalled by CPSC due to electric shock risk

In Washington, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and LG Sourcing, Inc. jointly announced the voluntary recall of LED Clip-On lamps for safety reasons. The CPSC recommends that consumers immediately stop using recalled products unless otherwise instructed. Reselling or attempting to resell the recalled product will be considered illegal.

The clip table lamp recalled this time comes from China's He Shan Lide company with a recall of 33,000 baht. The LED clip table lamp is divided into blue and pink, with a flexible neck of about 12 inches, and the base is a clip. A silver label is attached to the power cord. The label is marked with “MET”, “Electrical Safety”, “E113152” and “Apr.2011” on one side, and the other side includes the product model number: F3044-AC-01 (Pink Table Lamp) or F3044- AC-02 (blue table lamp). The table lamp plug is labeled "KENIC KE 01P E155176".

The recalled desk lamp was sold at Lowe's Store (the world's second largest home building materials retailer) from May 2011 to December 2011 at a unit price of US$20 per unit.

The reason for being recalled is that the power cord at the desk lamp clip is easily detached, and the live wire is easily exposed, and consumers are at risk of electric shock. At present, the company has received five reports of power cord loss, including an electric shock report and an accident report of children's hand and leg burns.

Therefore, consumers immediately stop using the lamp, unplug the power supply, cut the power cord at 2 to 3 inches above the plug, and separate the plug from the desk lamp and send it to He Shan Lide of the United States. Attach the name and address to receive the full amount. Refunds, including shipping plugs.
