How to install a geomembrane permeability coefficient tester?

The geomembrane permeability coefficient tester follows the standard SL235-2012, which is applicable to geosynthetics. This device is designed for testing the permeability coefficient of various geomembranes under water pressure. It is suitable for all types of waterproof geomembranes that require stable and practical performance.

The installation and operation steps are as follows:

1. Pressure Setting: After turning on the power, press and hold the setting button. Then, use the shift key to navigate and the adjustment button to increase or decrease the value. Once the desired value is set, press the "back" button to save. After adjusting the lower limit, press the save button to exit. The hourly lower limit should be set to 0.1MPa.

2. Time Clearing: To reset the time, keep pressing the "-" key during the experiment. Be careful not to accidentally press it while working.

3. Time Review: Long press the "t" key to switch to minute display. Release the key to return to pressure display.

4. Zero Adjustment: If the device does not return to zero after starting, long press the "+" key to recalibrate. Do not press the clear button when there is pressure; wait until the pressure is released before resetting.

5. Sample Preparation: Each test group should include at least 3 samples. Ensure the sample size matches the container. Open the container, fill it with water, place the sealing ring, sample, permeable stone, and pressure ring in order, then clamp the specimen securely.

6. Pressurization: Gradually adjust the pressure regulator until the desired level (typically 100kPa) is reached. Check all pipelines and joints for leaks during this process.

7. Data Collection: Once the pressure reaches the specified value, record the first reading and measure the water temperature. The interval between readings depends on the amount of seepage. Record once every 60 minutes, and extend the interval if the seepage gradually decreases.

8. Test Duration: The test should continue until the difference in seepage between two intervals is less than 2%. At that point, the seepage rate from the next interval will be considered the final test value.

This equipment ensures accurate and reliable results, making it an essential tool for quality control and research in the field of geosynthetics and waterproof materials.

Push Switch

Features

A push button switch is a switch that has a knob that you push to open or close the contacts. In some pushbutton switches, you push the switch once to open the contacts and then push again to close the contacts. In other words, each time you push the switch, the contacts alternate between opened and closed. These types are commonly called latching switches. There are also Non latching push button switches that only maintain the switch contacts when the switch is help in position. Once the switch is let go, the current is broken and the switch turns off. Push switches are usually a simple on-off switch.
