National LED Light Radiation Measurement Technology Seminar Held in Shanghai


From January 9th to 10th, 2010, the National Committee of Lighting Standardization Technical Committee Optical Radiation Measurement Subcommittee (referred to as "optical radiation measurement sub-committee") and China Lighting Society Measurement and Testing Professional Committee (referred to as "Measuring Committee") The National LED Light Radiation Measurement Technology Seminar and the National Optical Radiation Measurement Technology and Standardization Symposium co-organized by Hangzhou Yuanfang Optoelectronic Information Co., Ltd., jointly organized by the Secretariat of Optical Radiation Measurement Subcommittee, were successfully held in Shanghai. Wang Jinwei, Chairman of China Lighting Association, Chairman of China Lighting Association, Chen Yansheng, Executive Vice Chairman of National Lighting Standardization Technical Committee, Li Tongbao, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, and other relevant leaders and experts attended the conference. The conference attracted more than 260 professional representatives from enterprises, quality inspection and research institutions across the country.

The national LED light radiation measurement technology lecture held on January 9th was hosted by Chen Yan Physiological Director. Prof. Ye Guanrong from Zhejiang University, Yang Chenzhu, Research Fellow of China Institute of Metrology, Professor Zhang Haijun, Chairman of Shanghai Lighting Society, and Technical Director of Hangzhou Yuanfang Optoelectronic Information Co., Ltd., Deputy Chairman and Secretary General of Optical Radiation Measurement Subcommittee Professor Pan Jiangen Four senior experts explained in detail the principles of LED luminosity and chromaticity measurement, measurement and traceability of LED luminosity and irradiance parameters, system design detection of LED luminaires and LED optical radiation measurement technology at home and abroad. After the meeting, I answered the questions raised by the delegates. Participants generally reflected that this basic and systematic training was very urgent and rewarded.

Prof. Pan Jiangen was commissioned by two committees to preside over the opening ceremony of the National Symposium on Optical Radiation Measurement Technology and Standardization held on January 10. Chairman Wang Jinxi, Chairman Chen Yan, and Academician Li Tongbao spoke highly of the conference in a warm speech. I hope that the Optical Radiation Measurement Subcommittee and the Measurement Committee can further strengthen cooperation for China's LED detection technology and standardization. Subsequently, Lin Yandong, deputy director of the Institute of Optics, China Institute of Metrology, Jin Shangzhong, dean of the Optoelectronics Branch of China Institute of Metrology, Qi Jun, deputy secretary-general of China National Semiconductor Lighting Engineering R&D and Industry Alliance, and Liu Hui, director of the Photometric Office of China Institute of Metrology Zhang Baozhou, director of Photoelectric Detection Research Office of Beijing Normal University, Li Zili, director of the lighting department of the Inspection Department of Guangdong Provincial Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, Dong Zhanmin, director of the Physics Laboratory of Tsinghua University, Wang Junhua, deputy director of the Traffic Management Science Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security, and light source and lighting engineering of Fudan University Song Xianjie, deputy director of the department, Liu Yuezhan, deputy director of the Light Industry and Motor Vehicle Parts Inspection Institute of Guangdong Weikai Testing Technology Research Institute, and Pan Jiangen, technical director of Hangzhou Yuanfang Optoelectronic Information Co., Ltd., and other 11 well-known experts in the industry made special reports for the conference. The reports of the experts were profound and informative, and attracted the attention of the participants from beginning to end. Until the end of the meeting, the entire venue was almost full. In particular, Professor Pan Jiangen brought the teaching tools to the meeting: China's independent research and development, the GO-R5000 full-space rapid distribution photometer with complete intellectual property rights, the model of the real machine is reduced, which makes the atmosphere of the venue more enthusiastic. After the meeting, the delegates scrambled to watch the GO-R5000 model. They all expressed a more intuitive and profound understanding of the distributed photometer technology and the optical radiation measurement technology. At the same time, they praised that China's distributed photometer technology has reached the international first-class level.


Professor Pan Jiangen introduced the high-precision distribution photometer technology with the GO-R5000 full-space fast-distribution photometer model.

Finally, the conference was held by an interactive seminar hosted by the Deputy Secretary-General of the National Semiconductor Lighting Engineering R&D and Industry Alliance. Prof. Ye Guanrong, researcher Yang Chenzhu, deputy director Lin Yandong and professor Pan Jiangen attended the seminar. The four guests shared their unique insights on how to scientifically and rationally develop semiconductor lighting standards, how to build a semiconductor lighting inspection platform and how to do well in line with international standards. The delegates also spoke and exchanged ideas on relevant issues. Chairman Wang Jintao encouraged technicians to actively participate in international exchanges and research, and strive for the right to speak in all aspects of China.

During the conference, the Optical Radiation Measurement Subcommittee and the Measurement Special Committee also held the annual meeting of the Optical Radiation Measurement Subcommittee and the Standards Review Meeting and the Measurement Committee Working Conference.

After the meeting, delegates strongly urged that more similar activities be held in the future to train more professional optical radiation measurement talents for domestic LED companies, promote the development of domestic LED measurement technology, and further promote the progress of LED standardization work.
