Most of the current speakers are electric speakers, and the upper limit frequency is difficult to reach 20KHZ. Let us first look at the force of the electric speaker. The voice coil pushes the force of the paper tray to F, F can be decomposed into longitudinal force Fe and lateral force Ft. Due to the existence of Ft, the cone surface of the paper tray is subjected to alternating bending motion, so that the paper tray generates lateral vibration to form a standing wave. The standing wave causes the frequency characteristic of the speaker to fluctuate in the high frequency band, and the characteristic curve is not uniform enough. To overcome this shortcoming, we try to reduce the weight of the paper tray (reducing inertia, thereby weakening the lateral vibration) and increasing the hardness of the paper tray (reducing the bending caused by Ft on the paper tray). For this reason, people have made many improvements to the tweeter's paper tray, such as making paper trays with metal enamel, which is not only hard and light. In addition, boron has a high hardness and elastic modulus. It is a good material for making paper trays. It is made of titanium to a 10--20 micron thick paper tray substrate, and then the substrate is placed in a vacuum at a high temperature of 2500 ° C. Boron is bombarded with a strong electron beam, which is evaporated and deposited on the surface of the titanium substrate. The upper limit frequency of the speaker is up to 36KHZ.

In order to further increase the upper limit frequency of the speaker, it is necessary to transform the structure. A speaker with an upper limit frequency of 50KHZ uses a belt structure, as shown in Figure 2. The six permanent magnets are divided into two groups to form a magnetic circuit system. The diaphragm is made of a polymer film of 7-8 microns thick. It is light and soft, and a 10 micron thick aluminum ribbon voice coil is attached to the diaphragm. When the current flows through the voice coil, depending on the direction of the current, the sound film will generate F+ and F- forces, and there is no problem of lateral force. Since the diaphragm is very light in weight, the movement of the diaphragm has almost no inertia, so the speaker frequency response is particularly good.
