Tokyo-Toshiba Corporation (TOKYO:6502) announced the launch of the 5 volt constant voltage regulator "TB9005FNG" for automotive system applications. Samples will be available from now on, and mass production will begin in December 2014.
By combining external power transistor 1, "TB9005FNG" can support an output current of 1A or higher, which can be applied to automotive applications that require high output current. The integrated circuit also incorporates a system reset function that can be reset when the microcontroller's voltage drops or the clock signal is turned off, which helps to improve the safety of the automotive system.
