1 Introduction

2 System design ideas

A hierarchical distributed computer control system is used to centrally manage and decentralize the process. The overall design idea is: use telecommunication's virtual private network VPN as the communication network of the entire system, so that no matter how many pump stations and how many pools, how far away, all control and care work are remotely controlled by PLC and computer automatic completion. And realize the irrelevance between the clients, can realize multi-client operation, make the client machine coordinate work, and improve the work efficiency of the entire sewage system. Saving a lot of funds, reducing staffing, and improving management have great economic and social benefits. At the same time provide multi-level fault tolerance mechanism to ensure that the system can run safely and smoothly.

3 Introduction to the control system

The system is composed of a computer host, a programmable controller (PLC), a liquid level sensor, and an energy meter. The system is embedded in the original control system, which not only retains the original control function but also adds a new remote automatic control function and a large number of data storage and analysis statistics functions. The system can automatically start and stop under different water levels according to the parameters set by the operator in the computer, or the operator can directly start and stop on the computer. Each pump and grid machine can be selected to be automatically controlled by the computer through the transfer switch; if the computer encounters a failure, the control system in the PLC can automatically control the functions of each machine; or it can be separated from the computer control and changed to the original control system. During computer automatic control, the system automatically switches the priority order of starting working pumps every day to average the working time of each pump. The monitoring interface of the system is available for duty personnel to monitor the working conditions, flow rate, water level and other parameters of each pump. The system provides data storage, report query, and printing functions.
