At present, the production capacity of domestic special wire manufacturers is relatively small, and the annual production capacity of each company is only about 5,000 to 10,000 tons. The delivery period cannot meet the engineering requirements, resulting in many projects having to use ordinary wires or imports.

According to statistics, the annual amount of overhead conductors used in our country was about 1.2 million to 1.5 million tons last year, of which special conductors accounted for 5% to 10%. During the "12th Five-Year Plan" period, it is expected that the transmission line will grow at a rate of 13% to 15%, and the ratio of special conductors to overhead conductors will be about 5% to 10%.

Therefore, the production capacity of China's special wire needs to be greatly improved.
