First, "live football" profile:
The total area of ​​the project is 150sqm and the diameter of the sphere is 7m. It is divided into 9 petals during the performance. Each petal is covered with a MJ4 P44 string. The whole ball is composed of more than 90,000 MJ4 lamp points with a brightness of up to 7000 nits. The particularity of the project:
1. Highly customized: the length of the string on each petal of the sphere is different, so each string needs to be customized separately, and the spacing of the points at the upper and lower corners of the petals is different. Therefore, the length of each string is different. Not one.
2. Unique installation and connection method: Our engineers carry out highly accurate calculations, and finally get the length and spacing of each string, and draw detailed layout diagram and system connection diagram.
3. Unique control method: Special customized software will process the pixel points of the sphere to realize the video playback of the whole ball.
4. Special video processing: The video used for this project is specially processed by the customer. Our engineers give a layout of the petals of the customer's sphere, and the customer refers to the production of the video to ensure the integrity and authenticity of the sphere.
5. Unique installation method: In this project, the MJ4 point light source series does not use the card holder, and the customer uses the nylon hook to realize the installation.
The procurement, verification and production of the World Cup project are very detailed. Nylon Velcro has been selected for the project with the most stable and reliable method after several tests. The customer was installed under the guidance document of Wittom Optoelectronics, and Wittom's photovoltaic engineer flew to Brazil for a month to assist with calibration, testing, repair and final opening site guidance. After the preliminary test results, the customer was particularly satisfied with the solutions and results of Witm Optoelectronics.
In the end, "live football" performed lively at the opening ceremony. The famous singer Jennifer Lopez sang the theme song "We are one" on the magic stage inside the football. The world football war kicked off.
Second, "live football" preparation
Wittom Optoelectronics received an engineering proposal for "live football" in August 2013. Wittom's optoelectronic sales staff and R&D personnel gave the plan drawing and cooperation in the first time. The high flexibility of the point source and the professionalism of research and development have attracted customers' first reply and praise.
At the beginning of October 2013, the drawings of the spherical project were changed, which had higher requirements for highlights and waterproofing, and the product plan was also changed.
At the beginning of December 2013, the spherical project drawings were finalized, and the diameter was determined to be 7 m, and finally 9 petals were opened.
