MIX is here! Meizu crowdfunding launched a smart watch

Friends who are concerned about Meizu products may remember that as early as the 2014 MX4 conference, Meizu launched a Lifekit application that integrates intelligent hardware, and announced the first product that supports Lifekit, the inWatch Pi smart watch. Unlike the common practice of smashing a screen to the wrist during the same period, the inWatch Pi's combination of a quartz watch movement and a smart module is truly eye-catching. On the road to exploring new forms of intelligent hardware, Meizu is a pioneer.

In the following two years, Meizu changed its image of “small and beautiful” and embarked on the road of “singing-driven”. Although the smart hardware of the Meizu’s previous concerts will not be absent in the past two years, no matter whether it is Meizu’s own brand or a product from a partner manufacturer, the second smart watch is not seen.

Until August of this year, Meizu launched a smart watch on Taobao crowdfunding and officially opened it at the end of September.

Continuing the same positioning as the previously evaluated inWatch Pi, this product, named “Meizu Light Smart Watch MIX”, is essentially a quartz watch with a minimalist design and a movement from watchmaking. The big company Swiss Ronda, the surface is covered with sapphire glass.

The so-called "light intelligence" is relative to the "heavy intelligence" that is widely positioned by current smart watches. The MIX smart watch integrates a small dial in the quartz dial, which can be used to switch the small dial to display the number of steps, weeks, exercise volume, etc., and also supports call reminder, activity tracking, automatic calibration, and search for mobile phones.

It is worth mentioning that the MIX smart watch is powered by the CR2430 button battery. The official nominal life is up to 240 days, which avoids the pain points of the smart wearable device's battery life and attracts a lot of attention.
